QC take part in virtual FGCC chambers meet
Qatar Chamber participated in the 53rd meeting of the Federation of GCC Chambers (FGCC Chambers) held virtually on Wednesday November 11.
QC’s Chairman HE Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim Al Thani headed the Qatar Chamber delegation participating at the meeting.
The meeting ratified the minutes of the 52nd meeting of the FGCC Chambers held in Muscat in December 2019 and followed up on its decisions.
It also reviewed the findings of the study on the restructuration of the FGCC Chambers’ General Secretariat and discussed updates of the establishment of the new headquarters of the federation.
The meeting’s agenda also reviewed the annual report on revenues and expenses and final accounts of the FGCC Chambers General Secretariat for the year 2018, as well as appointment of auditor for the year 2020 and the annual report for 2019.
The meeting further discussed the agenda of the 54th meeting of FGCC Chambers to be held on December 24, 2020 and a memorandum on cooperation between the FGCC Chambers and the GCC’s General Secretariat on international economic relations.
