The United Nations Office of the High Representative for the Least Developed Countries, Landlocked Developing Countries and Small Island Developing States (UN-OHRLLS), in partnership with Microsoft and Qatar Chamber of Commerce & Industry, is pleased to invite you to participate in the
Private Sector Forum
which will be held on the margins of the:
“5th United Nations Conference on the Least Developed Countries (LDC5)“
The Forum aims to establish innovative trade relations with 64 LDCs with a population of 1.1 billion, whose working-age population will account for 46% of the global workforce over the next decade.
It will be a major enabler in unlocking the untapped potential for development growth in LDCs.
It will further play an essential role in implementing the Doha Work Program for the LDCs for 2022-2031 by contributing to enhancing these countries’ innovative capacities to achieve sustainable development goals.
The event will bring together multi-stakeholder speakers from heads of state and government, business leaders, and heads of international organizations and international financial institutions.
It features several panel discussions addressing important issues in diverse areas such as sustainable energy, agriculture, rural development, digital communication, climate change and sustainable tourism.
