Qatar clinched a third successive men’s handball gold medal at the Hangzhou Asian Games in China on Thursday. In the final, they defeated Bahrain 32-25. Bahrain led by two at the half-time break, but a nine-point swing in Qatar’s favour confirmed the result for the defending champions. The handball triumph raised Qatar’s tally to 14 medals, including five gold, six silver and three bronze.
