Qatar Chamber has rescheduled its General Assembly Meeting (GAM) to be held next month due to the lack of quorum, Qatar Chamber chairman Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim al-Thani announced during a meeting.

The virtual GAM, which was slated on Monday, will be held on March 3 at 12 noon, regardless of the number of attendees.

Due to the current circumstances and in adherence with the precautionary measures taken to curb the outbreak of Covid-19, the second GAM would be held through video conferencing.
The online registration for attending the meeting will start at 8am on March 3 through the chamber’s website, www.qatarchamber.com. After registration, each member, who must have a valid membership, will receive a link to follow up and participate in the meeting.

The meeting’s agenda includes reviewing the report of the board of director on the activities of the chamber in 2020. It also includes discussing the chamber’s fiscal report for 2020 through the auditor’s report on the final accounts and the statement of income and expenses for the year.

It will also see the approval of the estimated budget for the fiscal year 2021 and appointing a new auditor for the 2021 financial year.
